Hey there :)

We know the area formula of a circle
Area = [tex] \pi r^2[/tex] ( r is radius )

We are given the diameter = 34
A radius is half a diameter
radius → [tex] \frac{34}{2} = 17[/tex]

Apply the formula
Area = [tex] \pi (17)^2 [/tex]
Area = [tex] \boxed { 289\pi } [/tex]
Area ≈ [tex]\boxed {907.92 \ units^2 } [/tex]
