A(1) = -3. 2 (1)-1

= -3. 2(1)-1

= -3 .2-1

= -3. 1

= -3


fourth term n = 4

A(4) = -3. 2(4) -1`

= -3. 8 -1

= -3 . 7

= -21


8th term n = 8

A(8) = -3 .2(8) -1

= -3. 16-1

= -3. 15

= -45
