The slope-point formula:

[tex]y-y_1=m(x-x_1)[/tex]

[tex]m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

We have (0, 6) and (1, 3),

Substitute:

[tex]m=\dfrac{3-6}{1-0}=\dfrac{-3}{1}=-3\\\\y-6=-3(x-0)[/tex]
