3x + 9y - 18 = 180

3x = 9y - 18

Which means

3x = 90

9y - 18 = 90

Solving for each:

x = 90/ 3

x = 30

And

9y = 108

y = 108/9

y = 12

Answer: x = 30 , y = 12
