what kind of number sequence is 2, 5, 9, 14, 20, 27.....

i know that each number is added by the consecutive counting numbers 2+3=5 5+4=9 9+5=14 14+6=29

As go up the number sequence it is just the number added to get the new number plus 1. For example, since 2+3=5, 5+3=8+1=9
