Kinetic energy = (1/2) (mass) (speed)²

Kinetic energy = (1/2) (6.35 kg) (6.0 m/s)²

Kinetic energy = (3.175 kg) (36 m²/s²)

Kinetic energy = (3.175 · 36) (kg-m²/s²)

1 kg-m²/s² = 1 "Joule"

Kinetic energy = 114.3 Joules
