The Almoravids came to rule parts of the Sahara, Morocco, Algeria. They repudiated the lack of piety and what they considered to be the decadence of the Ta’ifa kings.
The Almoravids Dynasty emerged as a new form of Islamic power in Northern Africa, and founded Marrakesh is 1062, after capturing Morocco.
