Answer:

Splicing is defined as the RNA processing that involves transformation of trancripted newly formed pre-mRNA (precursor messenger RNA) into mature mRNA (messenger RNA).

During the process of splicing, introns which are non-coding regions are removed and exons which are coding regions are attached together  in eukaryotic mRNA. Splicing is done by the help of spliceosomes, which helps in the removal of introns from the genes in RNA.
