Is a salt forming a physical change or a chemical change

It is a chemical change because there is a breaking of an ionic bond between

No it does not physically change, but it does chemically change. For example, you put salt on your food, and it gives it flavor. Another example would be putting it on your meat. Salt would keep your meat fresh. Those are both examples of chemical change. Hope this helps! :)
