Tima was a “good, quiet baby” – she was just never a noisy baby. You see that she understands you, she just doesn’t make many sounds. In talking with her Mom, she says that a lot of the things Tima does (pointing, grunting, having her own "language" that very few understand, etc) is very understood by the family.

Medically, she has full hearing capability.

She has frustration and some temper tantrums that relate to the inability to understand her wants and needs.
