The equation would be: Y= 1/2x-1. Reasoning: Our equation format is Y=mx+b. Consider y to just be there for the mean time, but mx is where we insert our slope. We already know what our slope is in this equation (1/2) so that’s what we’ll insert, changing mx to 1/2x. B is where we put our Y. In this coordinate, our Y is -1 (keep in mind that a coordinate is set up as so: (x,y). Insert all our numbers to replace the variables and you get Y=1/2x-1
