|2x - 5| - 4 = -3
As it is under the Mod. it would be either:
2x-5-4 = -3  OR  2x+5-4 = -3
2x-9 = -3  OR  2x + 1 = -3
2x = 9-3  OR  2x = -3-1
2x = 6  OR  2x = -4
x = 6/2  OR  x = -4/2
x = 3  OR  -2

So, the answers would be 3 & -2.

Hope this helps!
