F(3) occurs when x =3. So lets plug 3 into our equation.

[tex]f(3) = -4(3)^2 + 4(3)-4\\f(3) = -4(9) + 12- 4\\f(3) = -36 + 12- 4\\f(3)= -28[/tex]

F(3) = -28
