Vernier Calipers are measuring instruments that can easily measure the width of objects, surfaces, and even thicknesses. This includes the dimensions of rods and domains. In addition to measuring the depth of holes and objects, Vernier calipers can also be used to measure the thickness of thin pieces of metal and plastic. This is not always possible with other types of scales.
