Step by step:
Start by distributing 3/4 into everything inside the parentheses giving you
4.5x + 1.5 (hint, turn your fraction into a decimal)
Now take that and recreate the equation
4.5x + 1.5 = 15
Now subtract 1.5 from each side to get the x by itself
4.5x = 13.5
Now divide each side by 4.5 to get rid of x’s coefficient
