A triangular pyramid is 9 yards tall and has a base area of 30 square yards. What is the volume of the pyramid?

The volume formula for a pyramid is. [tex]V=\frac { A\cdot h }{ 3 } \\ \\ \\ [/tex] , where V is volume, A is base area and h is height.

So we have the height value and base area value, let's plug them in the formula

[tex]V=\frac { 30\cdot 9 }{ 3 } \\ \\ V=\frac { 270 }{ 3 } \\ \\ V=90\quad [/tex]
