To find out the intercepts of a graph with the axes, you must substitute either    y = 0 or x = 0
To find the intercept with the x-axis, we sub in y = 0, to get:
2x = 12; x = 6, so your x-intercept is (6,0)

To find the intercept with the y-axis, we sub in x = 0, to get:
4y = 12; y = 3, so your y-intercept is (0,3)

Hope I helped!! xx
