Yes this is true, because niche is where the organism is comfortable, and their instincts from when they are born affect their perspective of their environment

A niche is the match of a species to a specific environmental condition, and most inherent traits are things in favor to survive this environment.

Traits like color, fur, and morphology are examples.

Some things could also mutate to adapt to some specific changes in the environment.
