Hey!

Let's start by writing the problem:
[tex]2x+7=12x-6[/tex]
Subtract 7 from both sides.
[tex]2x+7-7=12x-6-7[/tex]
[tex]2x=12x-13[/tex]
Subtact 12x from both sides.
[tex]2x-12x=12x-13-12x[/tex]
[tex]-10x=-13[/tex]
Divide both sides by -10.
[tex]\frac{-10x}{-10}=\frac{-13}{-10}[/tex]
[tex]x=\frac{13}{10}[/tex]

Let me know if you have any questions regarding this problem!
Thanks!
