A = (h * b) / 2
A = (16 * 14) / 2
A = 224/2
A = 112

To find the area of a triangle, we use the equation. A= 1/2(bh)

We can then plug in the numbers.
B=Base
H=Height

A=1/2(14×16)

14×16=224
And to take half of something means to divide it by two.
So 224÷2=112

A=112in
