Tai used a coupon and bought a sweater for $32. The full retail price of the sweater was $40. What percent did Tai save with her coupon?

 see how you got 80%... but that was the amount paid.. they paid 80% for it, 20% is the percent that they didnt have to pay since it was on sale. what i would do is: 
40-32= 8. 
8/40= 0.2 
20% 

it is 8/40 because those are the 8 dollars that you didnt have to pay out of the 40.
