The Viennese School is what the three famous classical composers Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven were called. In 1834, Raphael Georg Kiesewetter who was an Austrian musicologist, first used this term but he did not include Beethoven as a part of this group but Beethoven was later added by other writers.
