Energy is neither created nor consumed by chemical processes, slightly assigned. Since heat is also lost every time energy is given within organisms, that lost heat must go somewhere. That lost energy converts waste heat in the environment.Waste heat is the additional heat provided to the neighboring environment (in the pattern of thermal energy) by a heat engine in a thermodynamic method.
