1.How does inertia affect a person who is not wearing a seatbelt during a collision

The car or object will stop moving because it was hit, however the person not wearing a seatbelt was not acted on by an outside force, causing them to continue moving forward.

Inertia keeps this person moving until an object stops them from moving.
